Chantepie de la Saussay, was intended not only for specialists, but for all those who are really interested in the history of the religious beliefs of different peoples.
The lack of research on Christianity is due to the very intention of the book - to create a historical encyclopedia of non-Christian religions, including both ancient Christian cults and those that appeared after the enlightenment of mankind by the Light of Christ.
