S. Solovyov calls him impatient, V. Klyuchevsky calls him brave. Impatient in eradicating old untruths, courageous in his assumptions, Pososhkov is an example of a Russian businessman who managed to break out of the surrounding class life and rise to the level of state building. His plan for reforming Russia, thought out to the smallest detail and covering almost all aspects of Russian life, has not become outdated in many ways to this day. Three hundred years have passed, and it seems amazing. Amazing until you read the book and understand its main secret. A secret that gives the key to any economic transformation and at all times. The secret, talentedly guessed by Pososhkov, the secret, the meaning of which is Free Labor, Law and Truth.
In "The Book of Poverty and Wealth" IT Pososhkov came close to Peter's transforming activity. The book was written in 1724, when Pososhkov was already 72 years old. Much of what he wrote earlier, he cites in this essay, repeats the arguments about the judiciary from the "Paternal Testament", sets out his report on the monetary reform that has not been preserved. He insistently pursues the idea of the enormous possibilities for the country's economic development. Along with the enrichment of the country, he is concerned with the implementation of law and justice. He insists on the need to assist Russian inventors and entrepreneurs, attaches great importance to the merchant class. Much attention is paid to achieving the most favorable conditions for trading with foreigners.
