Irina Emelyanova talks about B. Pasternak, A. Efron, V. Shalamov, whom she met in the 50-60s, as well as about her mother O. Ivinskaya (the prototype of the image of Lara in B. Pasternak's novel ` Doctor Zhivago`), who shared not only the difficult trials in the last period of the poet’s life (including the Nobel days), but also suffered severe punishment for this friendship.
Letters from A. Efron and V. Shalamov to O. Ivinskaya and I. Emelyanova are published for the first time.
