Prof. Harold Fish argues in a clear yet thoughtful manner that this factor of the Zionist movement, the spiritual-religious factor, was obscured by the secular manner of expression and orientation to the non-Jewish calendar. However, he argues, we are faced with the inevitability of summing up and creating a new formulation of the foundations of Zionism, since both Israeli youth and "olim" from Russia and from Western countries are looking for ways to spiritual renewal, not satisfied with the more familiar accessories of statehood. They think about their historical destiny and seek the realization of the ideal. Israel will not be able to convince the peoples of the world that it is right until it regains its true form, its faith and its hope for the future. Prof. Fish also analyzes the crisis that the Christian Church and the Arab world are experiencing today - a crisis that began with the proclamation of the State of Israel and has become especially aggravated as a result of the events of recent years. Published in England and the United States, Prof. Fish aroused keen interest in both Jewish and non-Jewish circles... All this and more in the book The Jewish Revolution (Harold Fish)
