This two-volume collection includes selected works created in different years of the writer's work. Content Volume I

Volume 1 includes the 1898 novellas The Lagoon and The Outpost of Progress, the 1902 novellas Youth, The End of Slavery, and the 1900 novel Lord Jim, the story The Black Navigator, presumably written in 1884.

Volume II

The second volume contains the story "Heart of Darkness", created in 1902, "Falk", "Typhoon" and "Tomorrow" - in 1903, "Duel", dated 1908; "Freya of the Seven Islands" and "Secret accomplice" - 1912.
