I hesitated for a long time whether to write this book. A book about my own life. I was not sure that I could captivate the modern reader with a journey through my biography. I was embarrassed by the inevitable abundance of the pronoun `ya` in the text, the transformation of oneself into a kind of center of the memoir universe. But since the memoir worm still gnawed at me, he began to calm himself: after all, a biography is a time in which it is immersed, an interesting time. These are events and people with whom I had to come into contact. These are judgments and assessments that have absorbed the self-awareness of the era. This, as Herzen wrote, `reflection of history in a man who accidentally fell on her way`. Reassured and persuaded. Alexander Bovin
