The outstanding Russian choreographer Oleg Vinogradov from 1977 to 1997 headed the ballet of the Kirov - Mariinsky Theatre. His performances The Inspector General, The Knight in the Panther's Skin, Vain Precaution brought the troupe worldwide fame.

In 2007, Oleg Vinogradov turns seventy. Today he heads the Washington Ballet Academy, successfully directs the Korean Ballet Company and stages performances in Moscow.
