Michael Korovkin is a Canadian of Russian origin living in Italy, Professor of Social Anthropology of Communication and Professor of Anglo-American Literature. Writes exclusively in English. Among the many scientific and artistic publications of his work, the Italian translations of his novels Notes of a Demi-Season Man (Sperling & Kupfer, 1992) and Dancing with Fat Cats (Mondadori, 1994) enjoyed particular success. The latter is offered to the Russian reader in the author's translation from English. The original English title of the novel was "Dancing with Fat Cats", which was changed by the Italian publisher along with the author's name.
