One of the most unusual poetic readings of the work of A.S. Pushkin in such an edition is published for the first time. This publication combines the second edition of the book “Pushkin’s Prose in Poetic Reading” and a revised version of the article “The House of Spades” as a metatextual novella. Pushkin's legacy appears before us from new unexpected angles. Both the theoretical and analytical parts of this work take into account critical remarks that appeared in the press in connection with the principles, methods and results of research previously published by the author. This comparative historical literary study will be of interest to Russian philologists, literary critics, art critics and all those who are interested in the “secrets and miracles” of Pushkin’s prose.

Дитмар Штюдеманн (Вельс/Австрия 1941-2022, Берлин) с 1972 г. работал в Министерстве иностранных дел, занимая должности в Москве, Афинах, Вене, Праге и Киеве. Большую часть своей профессиональной карьеры он провел в Москве, где стал свидетелем не только начала улучшения отношений между Востоком и Западом, но и распада Советского Союза. Во время его работы послом в Украине в 2004 году произошла "оранжевая революция".
Этот опыт сформировал его личность и интересы, которые часто выходили за рамки его обязанностей в качестве дипломата. Он увлекался литературой и культурой, интересовался историей и археологией, проявлял особый интерес к изобразительному искусству, что нашло отражение в его частной художественной коллекции.
