Wilhelm Reich (1897-1957) - Austrian scientist, neuropsychiatrist, physician, one of the founders of the European School of Psychoanalysis. In 1924, he became deputy director of the clinic, led by Z. Freud. He advocated the abolition of repressive morality and the development of sexual education.
In the 1940s, he founded the Institute of the Organ in New York, where he continued his research on bioenergy - the energy of life, which he called the organ. He observes it in his laboratory studies as a fundamental vital energy inherent in all living organisms. According to Reich, this energy underlies the Freudian concept of libido, being the driving force of living organisms, in particular higher animals and humans. It can be assumed that we are talking about the universal energy Qi - one of the main categories of Chinese philosophy and medicine. In 1950, he created a device that restores an organ that is depleted over the years in the human body, allowing you to relieve overwork, restore energy balance and treat various diseases with its help, such as cancer, angina pectoris, asthma, and epilepsy. W. Reich calls it an orgone accumulator and sets up the production of a device for the needs of medicine and psychiatry. The orgone accumulator has repeatedly proven its effectiveness, helping even hopeless patients.
Today in the world there are many followers of the teachings of W. Reich. The research conducted by W. Reich more than 70 years ago, using a very modest toolkit by modern standards, has not lost its relevance today.
