John Russo's novel "Night of the Living Dead" opened the theme of zombies in horror literature - the bloodthirsty dead who have risen from their graves to destroy all life on earth. In the novel "Inhumans" the author continues this dramatic theme: the plane is in distress, its passengers miraculously escape; however, their brain function is impaired; people lose not only their human appearance, but also resemble predators by their actions. In the novel by Mark Saunders "Disaster" is too cruel the revenge of nature for the ecological slovenliness of people. Harmless butterflies under the influence of chemicals turn into bloodthirsty cannibals.
