Ken Kesey wrote his first novel, Over the Cuckoo's Nest, under the influence of psychedelic experiences in 1962. This book is a wild success all over the world to this day and became the programming test of the 1960s generation. In 1975, the novel was filmed by Milos Forman, starring Jack Nicholson, Kesey was dissatisfied with the film adaptation, in which the psychedelic gave way to realism, and the main character Chief Mop to the more understandable rebel Randle McMurphy. The public and colleagues, however, highly appreciated Foreman's work, and the picture received a total of eight Oscars. Kesey was able not only to dive into his own bloodstream, as if looking inside his own eyes, but also to re-enter the spheres inhabited by Others, brothers and sisters, to whom the stream of newfound responsibility flows - to them and to the world at large. . Never before has responsibility been achieved through enjoyment."
