The book contains a large amount of information of a sociological-"technological" nature. Sometimes this information is presented as if in the vein of a textbook, which can be attributed to the number of positive aspects of the book, especially since the experience of the Institute of Demoscopy is not presented dogmatically, it encourages reflection.
One of the features of the "technological" material presented in the book is that that to some extent it breaks our preconceived notions, for example, about correlations. Many of our sociologists believe that mathematicians should deal with correlations, in any case, they are established mathematically. E. Noel-Neumann takes a different point of view. Instead of mathematical correlation abstracted from the content, she proposes a method of logical meaningful correlation, which is based on multiple regrouping of the material and its comprehension. Such a correlation is carried out without the help of computer technology and programs that allow you to calculate double or triple correlations.
