The book consists of two sections. The first section outlines the anatomy, functions, signs of damage to the nervous system and methods for their detection. The second part of the first section is devoted to diseases of the nervous system, their diagnosis, methods of treatment, prevention, and care of neurological patients. The second section deals with issues of general psychopathology, the main methods of research, treatment and rehabilitation of mentally ill patients, and the features of caring for them. The book is provided with a dictionary of basic terms used in neurology and psychiatry. A list of basic and additional literature on these sections is given. It is intended for students of medical schools in the specialties: paramedical business, nursing.
