The Man with the Golden Gun is Ian Lancaster Fleming's twelfth James Bond novel.

James Bond is tasked with taking down one of the most dangerous assassins and enemies of the Intelligen Service, Francisco (Paco) Scaramanga, who has destroyed many British agents. Scaramanga is an impeccable shooter who never parted with a weapon, for which he received the nickname "Pistol". To complete the task, agent 007 is sent to Jamaica, where, according to preliminary information, the criminal is located. Quite by accident, having come out on his trail, James Bond finds out about his plans, and will do everything in his power to prevent the criminal. As a result of a fierce struggle with the mafia and the KGB, agent 007 emerges victorious, having brilliantly completed the task assigned to him.
