This collection is published in connection with the fortieth anniversary of the Red Banner, the Order of Lenin and the Order of Suvorov of the first degree of the Military Academy named after M.V. Frunze. For the first time, the life and activities of the first Soviet military academy are covered with such completeness. The collection consists of three sections. The first section contains some speeches and articles by prominent figures of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union on the role and significance of the academy in the training of command personnel of the Soviet Army. A significant place in the collection is occupied by the second section - "Memoirs of the pupils of the Academy". These memoirs resurrect pictures of the academy's past, its formation and development, give an idea of the students themselves and their deeds. In order to maintain the chronology of the history of the development of the academy, the memoirs are arranged according to the years of graduation by the students, while the compilers sought to preserve both the individual features of the authors' style and their assessment of certain events, facts and persons, which...
