In the series of talks presented in this book, Osho focuses on the small document "Desiderata" by the poet Max Ehrmann. Desiderata, or "Instructions" (as this word is translated from Latin) are simple statements addressed to those who are just starting their journey into the world of truth. Osho's comments give them a special sound, forcing the truth that has come to us through these few dozen lines to be more clearly and clearly manifested. In times of political, cultural and religious strife, Osho, referring to the text "Desiderat", reminds us of how important it is to feel again our connection with the whole, that each of us is a part of Existence, that we are all children of one and the same same universe. "You are a child of the Universe. You are part of this beautiful Existence. This Existence needs you, otherwise you would not be here. And it needs you the way you are, otherwise it would not have created you the way you are. Existence needs everyone like this as it is".
