Who hasn’t heard about the famous Baron Munchausen and his fantastic adventures! Whatever happened to this brave man and inventor! He had the opportunity to fly on a cannonball, shoot seven partridges in one shot, get out of the belly of a huge fish and even visit the Moon! Whether this is true or false is for the reader to decide. But Baron Munchausen himself really existed. He lived in Germany in the 18th century and was a nobleman, a military man and a witty inventor, famous throughout the world for his stories. His incredible stories formed the basis of a book by the German writer Rudolf Erich Raspe, as well as many performances, feature films and animated films.

Magnificent illustrations by Igor Egunov, an artist and sculptor, will help the reader fully experience the era of the 18th century. In his works, the artist carefully works out the details to convey the era in which the book takes place.
