Evgeniy Vasilievich Spektorsky is a Russian lawyer, sociologist, historian and literary theorist. In 1898 he graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Imperial University of Warsaw. Since 1913, professor at the Kyiv University of St. Vladimir. From 1918 dean of the Faculty of Law, later rector of Kyiv University. In 1920 he emigrated to Czechoslovakia. He taught at the Russian Faculty of Law in Prague. In 1930-1945 in Yugoslavia, professor at Belgrade and Ljubljana universities.
