Renowned photographer Tucker Mason has traveled the world seeking to be as far away from home as possible. In his hometown, he was left with a father with whom Tucker never got along, a brother with a mental disorder, and a childhood friend with whom Tucker once had an affair. The only one who is still dear to him is the housekeeper Miss Ella, who, alas, is dying. Tucker decides to return home to see her one last time. Contrary to expectations, this trip will not only become one of the most memorable adventures for him, but will also allow him to find love where, it would seem, she disappeared forever.
