In the summer of 2004, five enthusiasts (a photographer, a journalist, a producer and two artists) undertook a `culinary journey` through Italy - from Piedmont to Sicily. As a result, the book `Gurmaniad. Italy` - the first in the conceived series of `Project Gurmaniada`. This luxurious publication is at the same time a culinary guide to Italy, a collection of recipes, a historical and cultural essay on Italian cuisine, written in an easy and witty way, the heroes of which are the best restaurateurs and winemakers, connoisseurs of the Italian culinary tradition. Finally, but not least, this is a unique art album containing color photographs, paintings, tone illustrations, beautifully designed by the wonderful book artists A. Bondarenko and D. Chernogaev.
