Blyukher V.K. (1890-1938) - Soviet military, state and party figure, Marshal of the Soviet Union, Knight of the Order of the Red Banner No. 1, Knight of the Order of the Red Star No. 1. In 1938 he was arrested during mass repressions in Red Army and on November 9 died during investigation in Lefortovo prison. Three years after Stalin’s death in March 1956, he was rehabilitated. The book opens with a brief bibliographical sketch. The book includes articles and speeches by Blucher on the theory and practice of military affairs. The appendix includes documents from the period of combat activities of Blucher V.K. on the fronts of the civil war. Slight wear on the cover, inside is closer to good condition.
