Andrei Bely (1880-1934) is perhaps the only one of the great Russian symbolists who was never awarded a Collected Works either during his lifetime or during the six decades that passed after his death. This book includes the most complete poems he wrote over thirty years - from 1901 to 1931, the poems "Christ is Risen" and "First Date", as well as the author's prefaces to collections of poems.
