The book presents a fictionalized biography of the Spanish dictator Francisco Franco. The figure is contradictory and in many ways mysterious. Franco led a putsch of the national forces of Spain and, as a result of a bloody Civil War, defeated the supporters of the republic. He concentrated enormous power in his hands, almost single-handedly ruling Spain for four decades. But at the same time, his reign can hardly be called a "classical dictatorship" - through the efforts of Franco, a constitutional monarchy was restored in Spain, and the country itself turned from a backward agrarian outskirts of Europe into a powerful industrial power, which after the death of the caudillo became a full member of the united Europe. Who was Franco for the Spanish people? Disputes about this do not subside to this day ... Biographical stories about Franco are illustrated with rare photographs taken at different periods of his life.
