ПАРАБОЛА ЖИЗНИ

This is the name of the manuscript of the book, the author of which is the writer and theater critic Simone LANDAU, who recently passed away from us. Before we introduce readers to a fragment of her work, which tells about the theater director Andrei TRAPANI, we will introduce Simona Gustavovna. Born in 1913 in St. Petersburg in the family of a hereditary civil engineer: her grandfather came to Russia from France at the end of the 19th century and led the construction of the Trinity Bridge across the Neva. In 1938 she graduated from the theater department of GITIS. Until 1941, she worked as a researcher at the LenTuZ. During the evacuation, she was the editor of the literary and dramatic broadcasting of the Omsk Radio and the head of the Omsk Drama Theater. For half a century she taught the history of the theater in several universities and art studios of the country, taught classes in the aesthetic education of children. Over the years she lived and worked in Leningrad, Moscow, Omsk, Simferopol, and since 1962 in Tambov. She was engaged in research, journalistic and literary activities. Among her works are the monograph “The Fate of the Actress” about Alexander Peregonets, who died during the German occupation in the Crimea, and the book of memoirs “The Bridge in the Fog. Family chronicle of the twentieth century. By decision of the head of the administration of the Tambov region, O.I. Betin, the manuscript of the book "The Parabola of Life" was accepted for publication.
