The novel `The Scavenger` completes the trilogy, which began with `The Prisoner` and continued with `Cop`. `Scavenger` tells about the further fate of the heroes of previous novels - the journalist Andrei Obnorsky and the former detective of the criminal investigation department Alexander Zverev. Events are developing against the backdrop of the political events of 1996 and the criminal "games" secretly associated with them. All characters, organizations and events described in the novel are fiction. Possible resemblance to real people, organizations and circumstances is accidental.
