More info

Anastasia Aleksandrovna Shirinskaya was born in 1912, she was a witness and direct participant in the events that led the Russian Imperial Navy to its last berth in the Tunisian port of Bizerte in 1920. There she grew up, studied, lived her life without feeling like a stranger, but never forgetting the bright pictures of early childhood.

The author's memoirs are a kind of family historical chronicle against the backdrop of the tragic events of the revolution and civil war in Russia and emigrant life in Tunisia.
