Despite the fact that there are many books about Jewish culture, the author has not found a single one among them that talks in detail about the customs, holidays, legends, superstitions, rituals and folklore of this ancient people, and therefore the everyday side of Jewish life in the past it was almost lost to those who did not receive a special Jewish education. Meanwhile, ethnographic and literary studies point to very interesting, but little-known features of the Jewish way of life.
