The book "Car in Russia" tells about the first, least known stage of motorization. It was written mainly on archival sources with the involvement of materials from the periodical press of the beginning of the century, which reflected the course of the country's motorization. Much of what is told in it has never been made available to the general public. The book consists of a series of essays, each of which is devoted to some phenomenon of Russian motoring - sports competitions, the activities of amateur clubs and societies. The book tells not only about cars, but also about the people and events associated with them. The publication is accompanied by illustrative material.
