A documentary story about the outstanding intelligence officer, Hero of the Soviet Union Nikolai Kuznetsov, who acted in the capital of the German-occupied Ukraine, the city of Rivne, under the name and uniform of Wehrmacht Lieutenant Paul Siebert.

For this story, the author was awarded the K.Simonov medal of the International Association of Battle and Marine Writers, established on December 20, 2000, as well as the prize of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation. In this publication, the writer used many hitherto closed materials from the archives of the FSB Russia.
