What could be better than a holiday... with adventure! However, the engineer Vasily Merkuriev, who so dreamed of the cold sea and the autumn forest, does not want any adventures! .. But they begin as soon as he arrives at a small hotel on the seaside. The owner introduces him to the guests, including a student, a bored young man, a girl who obviously went hunting, and ... a young witch. Merkuriev, of course, does not believe in any witches. And then, as if in mockery, the surrounding reality begins to joke strange jokes with him: as if someone is reading an old book about the life of the philosopher Kant, the fire in the fireplace lights up by itself, and ... a murder occurs in an abandoned lighthouse. Vasily Merkuriev knows for sure that there are no witches, no ghosts, no spirits - and all the time he stumbles upon secret or obvious traces of their presence. Even love with a young witch - or not a witch? .. - seemed to be prophesied to him by otherworldly forces ... Sometimes it is actually hard to believe. Even harder to understand and accept! But if you allow yourself to believe - life turns out to be full of miracles, and not fictional, but real ones!
