Max has not had a good year. He lost his job and hope of paying off his debts. And then an inheritance fell upon him: Uncle Henry’s estate in Provence. A friend convinced Max to at least find out what kind of wine was there. Uncle's wine doesn't excite me, but life in Provence is fascinating. In Provence, colored by childhood memories, Max meets his love. Unexpectedly, my uncle's illegitimate daughter arrives from America. If she legally has more rights to the inheritance, Max will have to return to rainy London. But it seems that some intrigues are woven around the inheritance, and the truth, as it should be, is in the wine. And the year may still turn out to be successful...
