The book is designed for a wide range of students studying German at university, in courses or independently. The course consists of 10 lessons, each of which includes a basic text-polylogue, a minimum dictionary, a linguistic-commercial commentary with illustrative material, a linguistic-cultural and grammatical commentary, as well as a reading text with the latest comprehensive information about Germany and exercises. The manual is built on the principles of intensive training (G. A. Kitaigorodskaya) and allows students to master the basics of business communication in oral and written forms in typical situations in a relatively short time.
