Русский язык и культура речи

The manual describes the basic properties of the modern Russian literary language, examines various aspects of speech culture (normative, communicative, ethical), talks about the organization of effective speech communication, outlines the basics of oratory, and characterizes the features of official business writing.

A significant place in the manual is occupied by the Workshop, which contains tasks for independent work. The Appendix provides accentological, spelling, and vocabulary minimums, an annotated list of linguistic dictionaries and reference books, and materials on business writing.

The manual has been prepared taking into account the requirements of the State Educational Standard for Higher Professional Education (2000).
