This unique political nugget was both the creator and the product of the Caucasian War. He was characterized by incredible ups and downs of the creative spirit and falls into the bloody abyss of cruelty, the mystical insights of a Sufi and deep Machiavellian pragmatism, the iron will of a dictator and the meekness of a novice, the tenderness of a father, husband and the willingness to punish the closest person for sins against the faith.
