Lyudmila Belyakina was born in Odessa. She graduated from the Odessa Institute of National Economy and graduate school at MADI. She worked mainly in management positions. For some time she was a freelance correspondent for a regional Odessa newspaper. I had the opportunity to personally observe many of the events described in the book.
