This book was written by Vera Petrovna Rossikhina, teacher and candidate of art criticism. For many years she taught the history of music in theater schools.
Articles by VP Rossikhina on the problems of musical culture were published in a number of journals.
The book "Stories about Russian Composers" is her second appeal to school readers. In 1960, the publishing house "Soviet Russia" published her small book "Learn to listen to music".
