They not only complement Berdyaev’s “Self-Knowledge,” which was created in parallel, but are valuable in their own right for their saturation with facts and the rare ability to recreate in words everyday life and the spiritual atmosphere of an extraordinary family, a special talent for seeing “big things” face to face. The power of this woman’s creativity, for the time being hidden in the shadow of her great husband, was realized both in prose and in poetry, revealing to the reader a bright image of a woman - loving, passionate, suffering, searching for and ultimately finding her Path and Truth.
