Charles Percy Snow, Baron Snow, eng. Charles Percy Snow, Baron Snow (October 15, 1905, Leicester - July 1, 1980) was an English writer, physicist and statesman. Snow's first published book was Death Under Sailing (1932). Among his other works are a biography of Anthony Trollope, a cycle of novels "Strangers and Brothers" and "Realists" - a study of the work of Stendhal, Balzac, Leo Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky, Dickens, Benito Pérez Galdos, Henry James and Proust. The novel "The Case" belongs to the series "Strangers and Brothers".
