The dictionary contains general scientific vocabulary and general scientific speech clichés that are typical for scientific texts in German of various branches of scientific knowledge and are often absent in public explanatory German and German-Russian dictionaries. The dictionary is intended for students of higher educational institutions studying German (for example, by " Textbook of the German language" by V.A. Tatarinov or according to the "Textbook of the German language" by V.A. Tatarinov and I.P. Yasnenko) and translating scientific literature from German into Russian in their specialty, as well as for graduate students undergoing preparation for passing candidate's examinations in the German language and in the history and philosophy of science.
