We bring to the attention of the reader one of the infamous novels by Nicholas dn Sharyar. The books of de Charriard ("Morning Dialogues", "Afternoon Dialogues", "Evening Dialogues", "Reflections on the Nature of Man") belong to the period when the High Renaissance begins to prepare the ground for the Gallant Age, and respect for man in all its manifestations replaces ideas about the original sinfulness of all mankind that prevailed during the Middle Ages. In form, de Cherryard's novel is sustained in the then widespread form of dialogue between a student and a mentor. In its content, it resembles the well-known to our reader "Kama Sutra" and Taoist sexual instructions. In Russian, the novel "Morning Dialogues" is published for the first time.
