Description The present, 25th edition of the Spelling Dictionary is a repetition, with minor amendments, of the 13th, corrected and supplemented edition. In the 13th edition, published in 1974, while maintaining the overall structure of previous editions, the glossary was updated (new words were introduced and rarely used ones were excluded), a more rational presentation of grammatical information was carried out, inconsistencies were eliminated, clarifications and corrections were made to the spelling individual words. Words whose spelling has changed in the 13th edition from previous editions are given in the Preface. Comment 25th edition, revised.
