Our Decameron" is a prose work by the famous playwright Edvard Stanislavovich Radzinsky, written by him in the seventies. The story is told from the point of view of the "stepson of the century" - an intelligent, keenly observant writer, but who buried his talent in the ground. He ruined his talent and his peer, "pushed" writer D., who eventually committed suicide. At his wake, each of his friends in memory of him tells a love story taken from our life. This is how the newest "Decameron" is created, and what miserable, funny, tragic in it our recent reality appears!
This book is about the tragedy of people whose talent began to blossom in the sixties, did not have time to develop and was mutilated by subsequent times.

The stories told in the book are filled with echoes of Moscow urban folklore of recent decades.
