The purpose of this manual is to help prepare for admission exams in physics to higher education institutions. The book is based on the program of admission exams, although in some cases there are some deviations from it, taking into account the practice of admission exams. This manual should be considered as a supplement to the textbook. The main attention is focused on revealing the physical meaning of the most important questions in the school course and on a detailed examination of some questions that often cause difficulties in exams. Many examples and problems are considered, and in most cases not only their detailed solutions are provided, but also an analysis of the conditions and results. The book may be useful for those independently preparing for college entrance exams in physics, for high school students and students of preparatory courses.
