When a person is able to unravel one of the greatest mysteries of nature - the mystery of seasonal and periodic migrations of animals on our planet, we will discover such relationships between living organisms and the Universe that we are not even aware of now. The mystery has not yet been solved, although science has already accumulated a lot of information about migrations. The French writer Georges Blon shows in his book this amazing phenomenon using the example of very few nomadic animals, but he chose the most striking and characteristic cases. Individual chapters of the book are real short stories with a completed dramatic plot. The author presents the necessary scientific explanations simply and vividly, sometimes resorting to unexpected techniques.
