This edition includes 16 works by N.I. Bukharin. They cover a total of about twenty years of his creative activity. The choice is due to the relevance of many ideas embedded in them, the desire to give the reader an idea about their author as a theoretician, party tribune, talented polemist and journalist. Here - newspaper and magazine articles, reports and speeches, works devoted to theoretical problems. The works of N.I. Bukharin, in which, on the basis of Lenin's methodology, the essence of the new economic policy was revealed, the agrarian-peasant problem was studied, and the regularities of the period of transition from capitalism to socialism were highlighted. These works include a number of pamphlets and articles:
- The New Deal of Economic Policy. 1921.
- About the new economic policy and our tasks. Report at the meeting of the asset of the Moscow organization. April 17, 1925.
- The path to socialism and the workers' and peasants' union. 1925.
- Notes of an economist. By the start of the new business year. September 30, 1928.
The provisions contained in them on the combination of personal and public interests, on the importance of commodity-money relations, on the need to reckon with economic laws remain relevant to this day.
The collection also includes part of the philosophical works of N.I. Bukharin:
- The theory of the proletarian dictatorship. 1919.
- To the formulation of the problems of the theory of historical materialism (Fluent notes). 1923.
- Lenin as a Marxist. Report at the solemn meeting of the Communist Academy. February 17, 1924.
These works grew out of many years of scientific and historical research and show the colossal amount of work carried out by the author, its breadth and conscientiousness.
