The album presents a landmark event of the Art Nouveau era - the International Construction and Art Exhibition of 1908. The Russian Empire took part in it (the Kingdom of Poland and Finland had separate pavilions at the exhibition), Austria, England, Germany, Denmark, the USA, France, Sweden whose firms were active in the domestic market. The high level of the exhibition was emphasized by the participation in it of the Ministries of the Imperial Court, Trade and Industry, Communications, St. Petersburg City Public Administration and other central organizations, as well as trade and industrial firms. It was one of the largest and most significant reviews of the global construction and design industry, which summed up the development of science and technology, as well as the art industry over the past century. Numerous photographs show pavilions and goods.
