The first volume of the Works of science fiction writer Alexander Kazantsev includes the dream novel “Underwater Sun” (North Pier) and the story “Moon Road”. The novel talks about the construction of an ice pier along the coast of our country, which protects the northern seas from freezing, making year-round navigation possible. The story "Moon Road" describes the joint work of Soviet and American cosmonauts on the Moon. Bold social and technical forecasting and fascinating stories made these works widely known in Russia and abroad.

The second volume includes stories about the mystery of the Tunguska meteorite, about amazing chess games and others. The section “Reflections of a Science Fiction Writer” is devoted to traces of possible visits to Earth by aliens. The novel "Stronger than Time" tells the story of the distant future. The heroes of the work implement extraordinary scientific ideas and meet brothers in mind in the universe. The refinement of the literary form is combined with a wealth of imagination: it is estimated that there are more than a hundred scientific and technical hypotheses in the novel.

The third volume includes a story about an expedition to a planet on which astronauts encounter the distant past of the Earth, and a novel about the death of the fifth planet of the solar system due to a nuclear explosion of the oceans. Its surviving inhabitants spread throughout space, their descendants are found on Earth a million years later, during the period of Quetzalcoatl and Kon-Tiki, and after a few thousand years, earthlings find in the caves of Mars the fading civilization of the Faetians, for whom their planet is being rebuilt.
