Known outside Germany the famous homeopath Professor Dr. Stiegele had sufficiently rich experience of many years of successful hospital management and a practicing physician to be able to convincingly present the teachings of Hahnemann to the reader. It seemed to him necessary and in keeping with the spirit of the times, first of all, to revise the fundamental views and guidelines of homeopathy, based on modern progress in scientific thinking, and expand them accordingly.
