The books are in solid good condition, the edges of the spines are worn. The condition of the page blocks is very good, without any comments.

Etienne Bonnot Condillac (1714 - 1780) - an outstanding French philosopher, abbot, who made a particularly important contribution to the theory of knowledge of the Age of Enlightenment . His brother is the famous Abbot of Mably. He moved for some time in the circle of encyclopedists, in 1768 he became a member of the French Academy, before that he was the tutor of the grandson of Louis XV, Infante Ferdinand of Parma.

Volume 1 includes “An Essay on the Origin of Human Knowledge” (1749). The 2nd volume includes the works: “Treatise on Systems” (1749), “Treatise on Sensations” (1754), “Treatise on Animals” (1755). The 3rd volume includes the works: `On the art of reasoning`, `Logic, or the beginnings of the art of thinking`, `The language of calculus`.
